SPECIFICATION SHEET

This sheet has been produced to inform our customers of what they can expect from our standard specification for the manufacture of our external doors and shows that we produce high quality products. It also provides information which can be used when comparing quotations from different companies, to ensure that a similar product is being quoted for. Although this gives our standard specification, customers should note that we are able to manufacture to an alternative specification if required. We do not hold stock, but manufacture to order, and it is possible to change the specification to suit the customer’s requirements. Please ask if you require something different.

Timber

The timber we use is usually top quality Hardwood for instance European oak, Mahogany, Idigbo although if you require any other timber species don’t hesitate to ask.

Construction Method

Our wooden conservatories are usually 80mm x 60mm, With a drip mould to the top of the frame to allow the water to run off instead of it going back into the property Any design or ideas are welcome and we will be happy to discuss them with you so you get exactly what you require. The conservatory can be frame only or include a door or French doors in which side you like. We use a mortice and tenon construction for strength and security All windows with glass openings are pre-beaded for ease of glazing.

Variations

There are many variations to external doors including raised and fielded panels, flat panels, glazed panels, glass beads, plant moulds, bolection moulds, swept and shaped heads and styles. Please ask us to quote for your chosen design.
