PVCu French Doors
Elegant and traditional French doors can enhance the beauty of your home even further. Utilising the same profile and production techniques as the residential door, you can be assured of the highest quality, performance and appearance.
Our French doors are manufactured using Synseal PVC profile which is a 70mm system. All the glazing is toughened 'K' glass 4x20x4 sealed units fitted from the inside for added security.
All corners, transoms and mullions are welded and shadow grooved. The frames are reinforced where necessary with galvanised steel.
The French door locks we use are FUHR. The FUHR locking system has 4 shoot bolts (2 top and 2 bottom), 2 hooks, 2 round bolts, 1 dead bolt and a three piece keep so the doors are well and truly locked both together and into their outer frame. Each door locks independently and has a handle and a keyed alike cylinder.
As standard Thornton's always supply and install doors with enhanced security handles (Toyko Lever/Lever handle), they have all the secure by design certificate and PAS24 (Police Approved).
